Woman commits suicide, body of man found

MANSEHRA: A woman allegedly committed suicide after hanging herself with a ceiling fan in her room here in the Jullo area.

The woman stated to be in her early 20s allegedly locked her in a room and ended her life.

The police shifted the body to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital and handed it over to her family after doctors completed the medico-legal formalities.

The police after lodging a first information report started an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the incident.

Meanwhile, the body of a man was found at the streamside in the Bandi Matsarian area here. The police shifted the body to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital after locals informed them of its presence there.

According to police, a body had been dumped on the streamside which was later identified as that of Mohammad Noshad.

They said the man was stated to be insane but an investigation was launched to ascertain the cause behind his death.
