APCA stages demo outside CM House in Khairpur
SUKKUR: The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) on Tuesday held a protest march from the Khairpur Press Club to the Chief Minister’s House to press their demands.
The APCA held a massive protest rally from the Education Complex towards the Press Club Khairpur. The rally was led by its provincial President Murad Ali Chachar, General-Secretary Wali Muhammed Soomro and Ahmed Hussain Ujjan, President Khairpur chapter.
Later from the Press Club, the protesters marched towards the CM House Khairpur. Representatives of the rally said the Sindh government was not ready to accept the demands such as upgrading, time scale, deceased quota but other provincial governments have already acceded to the demands of the APCA.
They said that prior to this, a month ago, they had staged a demo outside the CM House Karachi, where the government had assured them of addressing their demands within seven-days but it had failed to meet its commitment.Meanwhile, daughter of the Chief Minister Sindh MNA Nafisa Shah Jilani assured the protesters of addressing their grievances. Upon this, the APCA decided to postpone its protest for a week.
