KHAR: A group of elders here on Monday asked the district administration to help resolve the dispute between the members of the Turkhani and Uthmankhel tribes over the ownership of Shingas mountain.
Speaking at a press conference, the elders of the Turkhani tribe, including Malik Hafeez-ur-Rahman, Malik Fazal Rabi, Malik Gul Karim Khan and others, said that the two tribes had a dispute over the ownership of Shingas mountain.
They said the members of the two tribes were exchanging fire over the issue, asking the district administration to intervene in the matter and resolve the dispute.The elders said that a case was pending before the court, but some people had started cutting the trees over the mountain, which led to the exchange of fire between the two tribes.They asked the district administration officials to intervene in the matter or else the dispute would lead to a bloodshed.
