SSWMB MD visits churches to inspect cleanliness ahead of Christmas
In view of the Christmas celebrations, Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) managing director Naseemuddin Mirani visited various churches in the city and held meeting with their organizers on Sunday.
Mirani inspected cleanliness arrangements and other preparations for the Christmas festival. On the directions of Karachi mayor Murtaza Wahab, cleanliness drives, fumigation and lime-sprinkling were carried out around churches across the city.
The SSWMB MD instructed relevant officials and private companies to ensure cleanliness measures and maintain communication with churches administrators. He emphasised on cleanliness, lime-sprinkling and disinfection using germicidal medicines in all areas. In the meantime, Christmas cakes were cut at the SSWMB offices in different districts of the city. Mirani conveyed greetings to all the Christian employees of the board.
