I am a teacher at a private school in Islamabad and can attest the dated nature of our school curriculum from first-hand experience. There is still too much emphasis on rote-learning and not enough on developing critical thinking skills.
Who will tell our rulers that the right to education means the right to a qualified teacher, and quality teaching means emphasizing both creative and critical thinking?
