LARKANA: Eight people, including deputy director of Intelligence Bureau (IB), were killed and 10 others were injured in a dispute on Irrigation Department’s land between two rival groups in village Pakhho, some 13 kilometers from here on Thursday.
The incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Pakhho Police Station of Kamber-Shahdadkot district According to police reports, a clash broke out between two rival groups i.e. Bhuk and Mugheri following a dispute over the Irrigation Department’s land in village Pakhho. As a result of indiscriminate firing by members of both the clans, as many as eight persons were killed and at least 10 others were injured.
The injured and the bodies were shifted to the CMC Hospital, Larkana, where the injured persons were admitted.SSP Kamber-Shahdadkot Sarfraz Nawaz Shaikh reached the spot with a large police force and took the bodies into his custody.SSP Sarfraz Nawaz Sheikh told APP that a clash broke out between two the rival groups due to a land dispute that resulted in eight fatal casualties.
