Woman dies, two others wounded in gas explosion in Gulshan-e-Iqbal

A woman died and two others were wounded in an apparent gas explosion in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Friday. The explosion occurred near the Nipa flyover in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, presumably due to a leak in a gas pipeline. As a result of the explosion, three people, including a woman were injured.

According to Deputy Director Anti-Encroachment Muhammad Sahil, regular drug users tampered with the gas pipeline, resulting in the explosion. The woman was severely injured in the incident and taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where she succumbed to her injuries. The deceased was later identified as Aine, daughter of Ashok.
