FDE announces winter vacation for educational institutions
Islamabad The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), the governing body for ICT educational institutions under its jurisdiction, has declared winter vacation. The winter break is scheduled to commence from December 25, 2023 and will extend until December 29, 2023. With the inclusion of the weekend on December 30 and 31, which fall on Saturday and Sunday, educational institutions will remain closed up to May 31, 2023.
During this winter hiatus, all academic activities, including classes and examinations, will be temporarily suspended. Academic activities are set to resume on January 1, 2024, marking the beginning of the new year. The winter vacation aims to provide a well-deserved break for students and staff, fostering a positive and rejuvenated start in the new year 2024.
