PESHAWAR: The representatives of the Dawat-e-Islami have hand over the keys of the houses constructed for the flood victims in Palair area of Kalam town of the Swat district.
A press release said the flood last year had destroyed dozens of houses in the area and people were left shelterless.Dawat-e-Islami gave ration, temprary shelters and other goods to the victims and took the responsibility to reconstruct the destroyed houses.
A ceremony was arranged to hand over the keys of the rebuilt houses to the flood survivors. The people expressed satisfaction with the material used in the reconstruction of the houses.DSP Circle of of Madyan, Habibullah, AC of Bahrain,a former Tehsil Nazim HabibullahSaqib, SHO of Kalam and Haji Shafaat of FGRF Supervisory Majlis were present on the occasion.
Provincial chief of Dawat-e-Islami, Salim Attari, divisional and district level representatives as well as a large number of Dawat-e-Islami officials were there as well. The beneficiary victims told the media they were thankful to the FGRF for the initiatitve. The FGRF officials distributed ration to the victims as well.
