PCB chief to brief IPC secretary on PCB affairs
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Zaka Ashraf will brief the Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) on cricket affairs in special context with the holding of chairman PCB election and formalities involved.
Secretary IPC Nadeem Irshad Kiyani is currently busy taking briefings from all the major sports federations/boards. Besides Zaka Ashraf, Chief Operating Officer (COO) PCB Salman Naseer and other officials are also expected to be present on the occasion.
“Election of the chairman PCB is on one-side, it is a sort of general introductory briefing with the focus on the working of the PCB and development programes the PCB has been carrying out,” a well-placed source within the Ministry said. Briefings from other federations are also in the pipeline. It is believed that briefing on hockey affairs will be held once the Prime Minister who is also Patron in Chief of the Federation approves the new name for the post of President PHF.
