SC disposes of 624 cases in a week

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has disposed of 624 cases (excluding CMAs) during the period from 27th November 2023 to Ist December 2023.
According to a press release issued here on Saturday, it was stated that 364 new cases have been initiated during the period from 27th November to 2nd December, 2023.
It was further stated that Chief Justice of Pakistan and judges of the Supreme Court remained committed to accelerate disposal of the cases and diminish the backlog, adding that the judges of the apex court continued to hear the cases with the aim to minimise the backlog and provide relief to the litigants.
