BANNU: Suspected militants attacked a checkpost of the security forces at Srabangla area in Bannu district here on Friday.

The attackers retreated after the soldiers manning the checkpost returned the fire. No loss of life was reported in the attack. According to details, the attackers attacked the checkpost of the security forces at Srabangla area in the limits of Huwaid Police Station. A heavy exchange of fire took place between the two sides.
