KARACHI: Hiba Fawad Chaudhary, wife of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry, has said that her husband has not yet made a decision on contesting the general elections scheduled to be held in February 2024.
Taking to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, she said in a tweet on Wednesday that Fawad Chaudhry “is from the people of Jhelum and for the people of Jhelum”. She further said: “So far, Fawad has not made any decision regarding the elections. Those taking advantage of Fawad’s silence due to being in jail have come out. They are trying to misguide the people of Jhelum. Fawad will make his own decision regarding the elections. Be cautious of opportunists!”
