KARACHI: Pakistan’s chances of securing titles at British Junior Open seem quite low as all Pakistani players except one are low-seeded.
The organisers on Wednesday issued the initial seedings for the 2024 event in Birmingham from Jan 3-7. According to the seedings, Harmas Ali is top seed, Raheel Victor is seeded 17/32, and Fahad Khan is seeded 33/64 in the under-11 category. In the under-13 category, Huzaifa Shahid is seeded 17/32 and Sohail Adnan is seeded 17/32.
In the under-15 category, Nauman Khan is seeded 5/8 and Shah Zeb is seeded 17/32. In the under-17 category, Abdullah Nawaz is seeded 3/4 and Umair Arif is seeded 33/64 while Talal Rehman Gul is unseeded. In the under-19 category, Anas Ali Shah is seeded 33/64.
