LAHORE: Patron-in-Chief of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Jehangir Khan Tareen and Central President Abdul Aleem Khan have said the country’s progress and prosperity was their first priority for which they had presented the best manifesto. The IPP president said that Pak Army was the first and last line to safeguard the country’s geographical boundaries.
They said it was high time to reject such elements which put the national interests at stake for their personal motive and elect leadership which could bring the motherland out of crises.
They expressed these views while addressing a party workers convention in Kamoke on Sunday.
Abdul Aleem Khan highlighted the party manifesto and asserted that rich people would have to pay more to provide relief to the needy ones. He said those who remained in power for four decades, were again begging to get power.
He said one party that took turns in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa had disappointed the masses and the situation was worsening there. At the convention, former MNA and President IPP Gujranwala Division Rana Nazeer Ahmed Khan, Secretary Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Auon Chaudhry and others said that those who were representing the tehsil did nothing for it till date.
They added that now people would not be deceived and the IPP would win with majority.
Chaudhry Nauraiz Shakoor, Dr Murad Raas, Rana Umer Nazeer Ahmed Khan, Rana Amir Nazeer were also present.
People in large numbers attended the convention while the youth participated with full enthusiasm.
