PESHAWAR: Speakers at a session on Friday stressed awarness-raising to curb blood disorders such as thelassemia and haemophilia.
They were addressing a session attended by families, said a press release.The session was arranged by the Frontier Foundation.
Addressing the audience, the facility chairman, Sahib-zada Muhammad Haleem, said only awareness could help lessen the rising incidence of the blood diseases. Dr Fakhruz Zaman, spoke about the reasons for thelassemia and precautionary measures which could help prevent such diseases.
