22 LB reps from Kasur join IPP

LAHORE: A delegation of 22 Local Bodies representatives from Kasur District called on Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan and announced joining IPP here on Tuesday. Secretary Information IPP Punjab Col (retd) Hashim Dogar was also present on this occasion.

Those who called on Abdul Aleem Khan from Kasur District included Mian Abdul Khaliq, Mushtaq Ahmed Bhutta, Shafqat Bari, Rana Shehzad, Rashid Ali, Rao Munir, Imran Hafeez, Asif Jat, Malik Shahbaz and Malik Mushtaq, Mehr Shawkat, Ghulam Rasool Malik, Hafiz Junaid, Dr Shabbir, Wali Muhammad, Mian Imran, Mian Shafiq Ahmed, Malik Mudassar and Rashid Aslam.

Mehr Aslam Sultan Luk and Mehr Ahmed Sultan Luk also called on IPP president and announced their joining with all their companions. President IPP Sargodha Division Saeed Akbar Nawani was also present.

They expressed full confidence in the leadership of Jahangir Khan Tareen and Abdul Aleem Khan and expressed their determination to work for the development of the country. Abdul Aleem Khan on this occasion said that national exchequer is meant to be spent on the welfare of common man but unfortunately past governments remained failed and looted the money for their personal interests. He added that now masses are fully aware and they cannot be hoodwinked again by those who took turns to rule the country.
