During 72nd edition of beauty pageant, Erica, 24, managed to secure a place in the list of top 20 contestants
ISLAMABAD: For the first time in the country’s history, Erica Robin represented Pakistan at the Miss Universe 2023 competition and made it to the list of top 20 contestants.
She became the first Pakistani woman to take part in the beauty pageant held at the Jose Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador, in the early hours of Sunday as per the Pakistan Standard Time.
During the 72nd edition of the beauty pageant, Erica, 24, managed to secure a place in the list of top 20 contestants. The beauty pageant saw more than 80 countries participate.
The first-ever contestant from Pakistan made a powerful statement during the swimsuit competition. Erica stunned the crowd in San Salvador as she began her walk across the Miss Universe stage on Saturday.
It is pertinent to mention here that Robin was crowned as “Miss Universe Pakistan” in September this year.
After an intense contention among candidates of nearly 90 countries, Miss Nicaragua emerged as the 72nd Miss Universe.
