Kotnajibullah school win badminton tourney

HARIPUR: The team of Government Higher Secondary School for Boys Kotnajibullah clinched the top position in the event of badminton and became district champion. The annual sports tournament of Government High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools 2023 were underway across the district for the last over a fortnight and the players from different government schools were exhibiting their sportsman skills in the volleyball, cricket, football, hockey, tennis and badminton.

According to the secretary school tournaments Muhammad Saifur Rehman, the final match of the badminton event was played between the single and double teams of Government Higher Secondary School for boys Kotnajibullah and Government Higher Secondary School for boys No 2 Haripur.

During the match for single Ali Raza the badminton player from Government Higher Secondary School for boys Kotnajibullah defeated Shahabuddin of Government Higher Secondary School for boys No 2, Haripur by 21-10 and 21-12.
