LAKKI MARWAT: Two members of a family were killed and three others sustained injuries in a landmine blast in the Kotka Noor Khan area here on Sunday, police officials said.
They said that Niaz Gul, along with his wife and three sons, identified as Saeed Khan, 17, Yasim, 9 and Yarman, 5, was working in his field when a sudden explosion occurred.
Saeed Khan and Yarman died on the spot while Niaz Gul, his wife and Yasim were injured.
The police reached the spot and shifted the injured to the Civil Hospital, Tajori. Officials said the police had launched an investigation into the incident.
