Collaboration in using AI in healthcare
Islamabad:Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and Health Services Academy (HSA) will ‘jointly explore’ opportunities to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into healthcare education and service provision in addition to improving skills of the healthcare professionals in the country, officials said on Friday.
“We have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to formalize the collaboration between Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and the Health Services Academy (HSA) for the joint delivery of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, the exploration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare Education and Provision, and collaboration on Academic and Research Partnerships”, Prof. Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor HSA told newsmen after the MoU signing ceremony.
On behalf of the LUMS, the MoU was signed by their Vice Chancellor Dr. Tariq M. Jadoon while on behalf of the HSA, Prof. Shahzad Ali Khan signed the memorandum of understanding.
