Ibrahim tops Sindh men’s tennis rankings
KARACHI: Ibrahim Iltifat has topped Sindh men’s rankings, according to the quarterly rankings published by the Sindh Tennis Association (STA) on Sunday.
Ibrahim outshone his rivals by accumulating 75 points. He was followed by Farhan Mustafa, who secured 40 points. Abdul Majeed was at number three with 30 points.
In ladies’ singles, Hania Naveed clinched the top spot with 30 points followed by Rida Khan in the second position with 20 points. Syeda Erij and Kajal jointly held the third position with 15 points each.
In juniors’ 17 singles category, Talha Suhail was the top-ranked player with 95 points. Hasan Farooq and Abdul Samad Arejo were jointly ranked second with 30 points each. Hania Naveed, with 25 points, was at the third spot.
Mujahidullah Khatak and Zubair Raja were both ranked at first in 15 and Under singles category with 40 points each.
In boys and girls 13 and Under, Rayyan Suhail claimed the top spot with 100 points followed by Muhammad Farooq Atiq in the second position with 45 points.
Asher Mir was the top-ranked player with 70 points in 11 and Under singles event. Zain Muhammad Ali was ranked second with 40 points.
In 9 and Under singles event, Muhammad Zain Ehtisham secured the top place with 90 points. Hasan Jamal and Zain Muhammad Ali jointly earned the second position with 60 points.
