Two shot dead in Lakki

LAKKI MARWAT: Two persons were shot dead in Bettani subdivision on Friday, police said.Amanullah reported to the police that Zahidullah and Waliullah were carrying building materials for the construction of a Veterinary Hospital in Chechandi village when the accused Akram Baig, Diljan and Idrees allegedly opened fire on the tractor driver. Resultantly, tractor driver Zahidullah and his friend Waliullah died on the spot, while he along with his friend Anar Gul escaped narrowly as they were sitting in the trolley behind. The accused escaped the scene while the bodies were shifted to the Civil Hospital, Tajori.The motive behind the murder was stated to be a dispute over the construction of the hospital.
