Govt’s decision to retain 2015 Haj policy this year hailed

FAISALABAD: The Haj Operators Association Pakistan vice-chairman Hafiz Muhammad Shafiq has hailed the decision of the government to retain 2015 Haj policy this year.
In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that 2015 Haj policy had included no curtailment in private Haj quota, elimination of hard-tec quota and imposition of ban on free Haj. He demanded the government announce some relief in official Haj package besides directing the airlines to decrease the Haj and Umra fares after reduction in petrol prices by the government. He said that the HOAP would resist if the Ministry of Religious Affairs try to victimise any Haj operator without having any solid reason.
MUSHARRAF TO ADDRESS WORKERS MEETING ON 18TH: Former President of Pakistan and All Pakistan Muslim League chairman Gen (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf will deliver a video link speech on current affairs of the country in a workers meeting to be held at Noor Park, Samundri, on March 18.
APML Punjab VP Mian Nadeem Saleemi, divisional general secretary Mian Muhammad Afzal and divisional VP Mian Raheel told that all arrangements had been finalised for the meeting.
