Three murder accused arrested
MARDAN: The police arrested three persons in connection with a double murder case, an official said. Speaking at a news conference, DPO Faisal Shahzad said that pistol used in the murder of two brothers was also seized. He added that on 26 February unidentified gunmen killed two brothers Mohammad Abbas and Mohammad Waqas in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station.
He added the police arrested three accused namely Mohammad Qasim who was younger brother of the deceased men, Kamran and Ziaullah. Faisal Shahzad added that during interrogation Mohammad Qasim told the police that he wanted to marry a girl he loved but his elder brother Mohammad Abbas didn’t agree to the match.
The DPO said Qasim wanted to kill his brother Mohammad Abbas, who was also accompanied by his other brother Mohammad Waqas on the day of the occurrence so he killed both of them with the help of his accomplices.
