QUETTA: An accountability court has awarded seven-year imprisonment to two officials of Nadra Balochistan for issuing fake national identity cards to foreigners here on Friday. The court also imposed a fine of Rs4 million on each official. NAB Balochistan had filed a reference against Syed Ali Mohammad Agha and Rizwan Aftab, Assistant Directors, Nadra Balochistan. The accountability court in the light of the proof against the guilty officials awarded punishment of seven years in prison and imposed a fine of Rs4 million on each accused.The NAB had arrested the accused Nadra officials on September 4, 2004. They had issued NICs to Afghan nationals from the Khanozai center of Nadra.
