Hitting corruption

JI Amir Sirajul Haq has recently announced a countrywide movement against corruption. Siraj told the media that a total of Rs12 billion worth of corruption is going on in the country on a daily basis, which is equal to a whopping amount of Rs4,320 billion annually. If the PTI also joins hands with the JI in this crusade, it would give a boost to the movement.

We should encourage the JI in this noble cause. Moreover, we need to applaud NAB for actively investigating cases against those who have plundered the wealth and resources of this country. People are very happy with NAB and support its actions wholeheartedly. One hopes that NAB’s ruthless probe into past mega projects will serve as deterrent for anybody thinking of corrupt dealings in the CPEC.
