MUMBAI: Padmaavat-starlet Deepika Padukone said that she feels highly honoured to feature in Time’s '100 Most Influential People in 2018' list.
Deepika is the only Indian actress to have claimed a spot at the coveted list - alongside top Hollwood actresses Gal Gadot, Nicole Kidman and Greta Gerwig - making her a highly influential icon of the Hindi film industry.
Deepika, who is basking in glory of success after her movie ‘Padmaavat’ received critical acclaim, was also praised widely for delivering stellar performances in movies ‘Bajirao Mastaani’, ‘Ram Leela’ and others.
Vin Diesel, who Deepika worked closely with in Hollywood, wrote on the actress’ profile lauding her overall persona.
“Deepika is the best Earth has to offer. She’s not just here to represent India; she’s here to represent the world,” wrote Diesel on Deepika’s Time’s feat.
Deepika herself shared that it makes her immensely proud to feature in the list; however this achievement seems very surreal.
