Meghan Markle has been tired of dealing with unfair criticism over her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, a royal expert claimed.
For the unversed, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprising return to Instagram as she announced her new business venture on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
The former working royal's brand includes homeware products. Meghan would be also selling oils, nut butter, jams, preserves, home fragrances and furnishings.
The mother-of-two has also sent 50 jars of the fruit preserve to her influencer and celebrity friends across the United States for promotions. However, the brand is not accessible to the public till now.
Now, royal expert and author Tom Quinn shed light on the criticism faced by the Duchess over her luxurious brand.
In a conversation with the Daily Mirror, he said, "Meghan was in tears when the brand launched and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special."
He added, "She has reached the point now where she thinks that anything and everything she does will be unfairly criticised."
Tom further stated, "She is especially sensitive about any criticism of her luxurious lifestyle in the US from her point of view this is something to be admired not criticised."
