Taylor Swift has recently shared insight into her relationship with former partner Matt Healy in the latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
However, a source spilled to the US WEEKLY, Healy felt relieved after the release of Swift's album.
The source told the outlet, "Matty still thinks very highly of Taylor but we were all nervous about what she might have said on the album."
Healy’s family was reportedly excited the way Swift sang about Healy in her 11th studio album, which was released on April 19.
"The people close to Matt couldn’t be happier with how the record turned out," revealed an insider.
The source explained, "Matt's family knew about the relationship. And they were worried that Taylor was going to rip him apart."
"Matty has struggled with life in the public eye, and he’s been doing really well, but the last thing that he needs is for every Swiftie in the world to think he’s a villain," stated an insider.
Another source told US, "Matt was really appreciative to receive a heads-up from Taylor’s team about TTPD."
"He was worried that their story would be shed in a negative light and the public wouldn’t get the full story," stated an insider.
A third source disclosed, "Healy was also very nervous about the Swifties but he is happy he can move on with less anxiety.”
Speaking of Healy and Swift's past relationship, the source added, "Their relationship was fast, but extremely passionate and real."
"They don’t speak anymore, they “ad a strong bond and he will always hold a special place for Taylor," added an insider.
Swift and Healy first started dating in 2014, though they never publicly addressed the relationship rumours. By June 2023, the couple went their separate ways.
Meanwhile, The Tortured Poets Department is out now.
