Prince Harry appeared to dispel speculations about his imminent return to royal duties in the wake of the family’s health crisis with latest move.
It was recently revealed that the Duke of Sussex amended his new residence as the USA in Companies House filing, hinting at his lack of plans to rejoin the Firm.
Speaking to The Sun, royal photographer Arthur Edwards claimed the latest documents highlighted the notion that Harry “really cut ties with the royal family.”
"I've always said that I thought Prince Harry would one day come back here and work for the royal family,” he explained.
"It now looks pretty certain that he's made his mind up that America is home and that's where he wants to stay."
Arthur divulged the possibility of the Spare author eventually applying for citizenship for America, after publicly admitting to have “considered” doing so.
However, the photographer noted it would lead to him losing out his royal title, prompting him to think twice about making that move.
"One day he may even apply for citizenship. That way he'll have to give up his title - the Duke of Sussex - so he probably won't go that far.
"But yeah it's quite sad because Harry was a very important part of the role family here and he was much loved,” Edwards added.
