HYDERABAD: Sindhi nationalist and founding president of Qaumi Awami Tehreek Rasool Bux Palijo on Sunday asked the government to think before jumping into the war of others.
“Pakistan is already facing an internal crisis and threats of terrorism. Supporting Saudi Arabia may be like taking the risk of an attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty,” Palijo said in urgently called press conference at his residence on Sunday.
He said on the one side Pakistan does not have good relationship with the neighbouring countries while on the other side terrorism and Baloch insurgency might be harmful for the government if they get involved in the Saudi-Yemen war. He said Pakistan was damaging relations with Iran. QAT Senior Vice President Qadir Ranto, General Secretary Anwer Soomro and others were also present on the occasion.
