BKU to reopen on Feb 15
NOWSHERA: The Bacha Khan University (BKU) would reopen on February 15, a senior official said on Wednesday. Speaking at a press conference after inaugurating ‘one-window’ operation licence branch, driving school and digital investigation lab here, Deputy Inspector General, Mardan Range, Saeed Wazir said that Bacha Khan University would reopen on February 15.
“The University of Swabi has been reopened and the security arrangements for Bacha Khan University completed,” he said, adding that the police and university administration had decided to reopen the university.
The DIG said that there would be no compromise on the security of the educational institutions, adding, that the institutions that had failed to make proper security arrangements were closed.He went on to add that the Counter Terrorism Department had made headway in defeating terrorists and had arrested several key terrorists in Mardan division.
