BKU to be reopened after strengthening security, says official
CHARSADDA: The Bacha Khan University would be reopened after making the required security arrangements, a police official said on Monday.Talking to reporters, District Police Officer (DPO) Khalid Sohail said that the police would inspect the security arrangements of the Bacha Khan University. “The administration would be allowed to reopen the university after the inspection and clearance from the police,” he said. He said that security of the private institutions in the district had improved while the Education Department had been asked to strengthen the security of the state-run schools.The DPO added the police had also taken steps to beef up security in the district. He added that the police and intelligence agencies had arrested several suspected persons across the district.Khalid Sohail said a search operation would soon be launched in Tangi and Shabqadar tehsils.
