If you’re educated but have no job and want to do a paid internship in government, semi-government and private organisations to enhance your knowledge, skills and employability, then hurry up to avail yourself of the internship programme of the Prime Minister’s Youth Training Scheme.
The reason is that the last date to apply for the programme is just four days away i.e. February 11.
Under the programme, the selected interns will be placed in federal ministries and divisions, provincial departments, industries, banks, corporations, and other public and private institutions having learning environment for internship, for one year.
They will get a monthly stipend of Rs 12,000 all through the internship period.
Around 50,000 interns with 16 years of the HEC-recognised degree or three-year associate engineer diploma after matriculation or FA/FSc will be hired under the programme, whose geographical outreach is not restricted. Individuals fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply from across of the country.
The internship is in no way an offer (immediately or subsequently) of job. It is a placement, which will automatically terminate after one year and as such must not be construed as granting any right of absorption or job with the relevant organisation.
All interns after successfully completing the internship will be awarded internship completion certificate by the employer. The interns will have the freedom to leave the programme at any stage but in that case, they will neither be granted internship achievement certificate nor will they have any right to obtain monthly stipend for the remaining period.
