RIS student attends Goethe camp
Islamabad: Zainab Abbas, a student of IGCSE-III, represented Roots International Schools (RIS) in Goethe camp in India, says a press release.
There were three divisions of the camp; MINT, Schulezeitung and Comic. The renowned instructors and trainers, Ms. Elking and Evelyn Welding guided students in Schulezeitung.
Students from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Iran actively took part in different events and activities which were a part of the camp. They took pride in performing different cultural dances from all the regions of Pakistan.
Students had interesting discussions about their favorite German words.
Students discussed themes the next day, such as Zukunft (future), Traume (dreams), and young people's dreams.
The theme chosen for expression of thoughts was “Freedom, dreams, going against the norm, not running for doctor/engineer.’
This camp not only gave a lifetime experience and exposure venture to our students but also enhanced their language skills which were the main essence and motive of this youth camp.
