Pesco BoD meets

PESHAWAR: The Board of Directors (BoD) of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) assured that the company would resolve the electricity-related problems of the industrialists on priority basis.

Speaking at a 103rd meeting of the BoD held at Hattar Industrial Area in Haripur district, Chairman Malik Muhammad Asad Khan said that the Pesco was taking keen interest in resolving the problems of industrialists as they were the main source of revenue generation. 

BoD chairman said, “We have to put Pesco on the path of success and profitability and need to evolve new ideas and proposals in this regard.”

Chief Executive Pesco Syed Hassan Fazil gave a comprehensive presentation to the board on the efforts to bring Pesco out of losses and increase in recovery.

Earlier, the chairman of the Hattar Industrialists Association highlighted the problems including under capacity Transmission Line of Hattar Grid Station, replacement of 45 feet structures, installation of larger power transformers, bifurcation of feeders and establishment of complaint office at Hattar.
