In connection with the tragedy of the Army Public School, Peshawar, photographs of the martyrs of the incident were displayed at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) to pay them homage.
More than 200 photographs of the students, school staff, army personnel and operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ would remain on display at the RAC till December 16. Member Punjab Assembly Raja Muhammad Hanif, flanked by RAC Resident Director Waqar Ahmed, inaugurated the exhibition, while Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Siraj ul Haq and Member Punjab Assembly Tehseen Fawad visited the photographic exhibition.
Addressing the opening ceremony, MPA Raja Muhammad Hanif said that it was a national tragedy which is unforgettable. He said that those people who martyred children were the enemies of Islam, Pakistan and peace.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Siraj ul Haq, during his visit, said that due to this sad incident, anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan segments were unfolded.
