The Young Doctors Association (YDA), Pakistan has demanded of the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) to take notice of alleged torture of a male doctor and locking up of a female doctor by the owner of a private hospital in Lahore for eating meal during duty. In a press statement issued on Tuesday, YDA general-secretary Dr Salman Kazmi alleged that the owner of a private hospital in Johar Town (known for lab cases of harassments and many other criminal acts) locked up a female doctor in the hospital for speaking against torturing her male colleague.
