Honouring mothers at RIS
Islamabad
Roots International Schools (RIS) nationwide campuses under the umbrella of Global Citizenship Club celebrated Mother’s Day with the zeal and fervor, says a press release.
Students prepared beautiful cards for their mothers and even teachers and created paintings and drawings as a gift for them. Many of the female students prepared handmade jewelry and photograph frames with beads and shells with the help of their arts teachers at RIS.
At the pack-up students surprised their mothers with their lovely gifts. All the mothers were very excited to see the creativity and love of their child. They were grateful to the teachers for instilling in the feelings to respect and gratitude in the children for their mothers.
Roots International Schools CEO Walid Mushtaq while addressing the mothers and Rootsians said that RIS has become the vital stepping stone in the life of children, wherein the child develops hobbies, learn etiquettes, and refines his personality. Our highly competent and professional teachers provide structured education and promote your child's mental and psychological growth. After all, the relationship between a child and his teacher is that of a mother and a child. And today we are honoring all the mothers. Mother’s Day is all about showing our mothers how much we value their love and care. This day should be celebrated to honor all mothers and express gratitude for the hardships they bear in bringing you up a child.
At Roots International Schools we believe that “No language can express the power, and beauty, and heroism, and majesty of a mother’s love. It shrinks not where man cowers, and grows stronger where man faints, and over wastes of worldly fortunes sends the radiance of its quenchless fidelity like a star.”
The purpose of celebrating Mother’s Day at school was to take the time to remember, and express thanks for, everything mothers have done for us. Mother's Day is a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
