CDA ready to resolve problems of estate agents

The management of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has expressed its readiness to resolve problems of estate agents while acknowledging their role in development of the federal capital.
The representatives of the Islamabad Estate Agents Association on Friday held a meeting with officials of the civic body on invitation of the local management. “We will resolve all genuine problems of traders, estate agents and all other stakeholders as their vibrant role in the development of federal capital cannot be ignored,” Member Administration Capital Development Authority (CDA), Amer Ali Ahmed while talking to estate agents said.
The meeting was also attended by the Member Planning and Design Waseem Ahmed Khan, Deputy Director General Land and Estate, Director One Window Operations and officers of relevant formations.
It is worth-mentioning here that the estate agents who reached in front of office of the chairman in CDA headquarters where they were beaten up and arrested by Islamabad Police.
However, later the Member Administration took initiative and invited estate agents for meeting on Friday
Member Administration Amer Ali Ahmed during the meeting directed the Director One Window Operations to amicably resolve all genuine problems of Islamabad Estate Agents Association on priority basis.
He said that CDA has always given due consideration to the suggestions of all stakeholders particularly of the residents of the city while executing all major and mega projects so that maximum benefit could be obtained from these projects.
He said that CDA management believed in dialogue and mutual understanding while resolving issues pertaining to the traders, estate agents and other stakeholders so that Islamabad could be further beautified on modern lines.
He said that in order to provide different facilities to the residents of the city, under one roof, citizen facilitation centre is being constructed adding that more facilitation centres have also been planned in different areas of the city to facilitate the residents at their door step. He said that One Window Operation directorate is also being upgraded on modern lines as latest machinery is being provided there, so that general public visiting the directorate could be facilitated in befitting manner.
Earlier, representatives of Islamabad Estate Agents Association apprised CDA management about their problems and assured their full cooperation in the development of the city.
