ACCA awards Gold Status to TMUC

The Millennium University College (TMUC) was awarded Gold Status as an approved learning partner by the ACCA UK Head Office, says a press Release.

The status was awarded in a seminar “ACCA - Future of the Profession and Global Changes” organized on campus by The Millennium University College here. Mr. Stuart Dunlop Regional Director - MENASA, ACCA UK attended the event as the chief guest, while other distinguished guests included Dr. Mary Bishop, Director Learning ACCA UK and Sajjeed Aslam, Head of ACCA Pakistan. 

The ACCA Pakistan Team, TMUC leadership along with the staff, faculty and students of the TMUC ACCA department also participated in the seminar.

TMUC Chief Executive Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq  thanked the distinguished guests from ACCA for participating while shedding some light on the importance of ACCA Qualification and its future Prospects as a Profession. Also speaking on the occasion Mr. SajjeedAslam spoke about various aspects of being an ACCA professional and the efforts ACCA is making to integrate soft skills into the program. 

Afterwards Dr. Mary Bishop gave a detailed presentation on technological advancements impacting ACCA as a profession. This was followed by a closing address by Mr. Stuart Dunlop wherein he felicitated the TMUC leadership for developing a state-of-the-art ACCA department at TMUC H-11/4, Islamabad.  In an interactive session afterwards the ACCA representatives answered questions posed by the student body. 

The ceremony came to a close with the award of mementos to the guests of honor followed by the presentation of Gold Status to ACCA departments at TMUC Islamabad and Gujranwala – both awards were received by Chief Executive RMS and TMUC Faisal Mushtaq along with the leadership of respective institutions.
