LAHORE
Higher Education Commission Lahore Regional Centre organised the second round of the 18th Regional Inter-University Declamation Contest 2015, Punjab Region, for Award of Allama Iqbal Shield at Al-Raazi Hall, Punjab University, on Friday.
According to a press release issued here, PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran was the chief guest while HEC Lahore Office Director General Nazeer Hussain, Student Affairs Director Shahid Mehmood Gul, Deputy Director Zubair Akram and a large number of students attended the event.
The English Speech Competition was won by Abdul Hannan of GCU, Faisalabad, by securing the first position, the second position was got by PU's Shahaan Zafar and the third position was got by PU's Rameesha Khan. Abdullah Imran from UET, Lahore, secured the first position in Urdu Speech Competition, Hifsa Abdul Ghaffor from GCWU, Faisalabad and Aihtisham Akbar from UAF, Faisalabad, secured the second and third positions respectively.
The PU VC distributed prizes among the winners. Almost 60 boy and girl students from different universities of Punjab participated in the event.
RESULTS: Punjab University has announced the results of MA International Relations Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015, MA Physical Education Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015, MA Philosophy Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015 and MA Political Science Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015.
