JF-17 presented at Morocco air show for African Market

MARRAKECH: A JF-17 Business Division team led by Pakistan Air Force, Air Vice Marshall Arshad Mehmood Malik held an impressive presentation of the equipment and services offered by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) at the International Air Show being held at the Menara Air Force base here today. This was the first presentation by the team in Africa and was arranged by the Embassy of Pakistan, Rabat. The JF-17 team is visiting Morocco on the invitation of Pakistan’s Ambassador to Morocco Nadir Chaudhry.

Fifty six countries are participating in the Air Show with forty Air Chiefs attending mostly from Africa and the Middle east providing Pakistan’s JF-17 vast exposure in the African continent for the first time.

In his comprehensive presentation entitled 'Cutting Edge Capabilities at Affordable Cost’ AVM Malik highlighted the products offered by the PAC including the JF-17 Thunder fighter jet, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and maintenance facilities particularly for Mirage fighter jets. The Embassy of Pakistan, Rabat had also arranged sideline meetings with industry professionals and air force officials from various countries for AVM Malik that were held over two days.

There was immense interest in the presentation evident from the fact that it was well attended by Ambassadors, Air Chiefs and Defense Attaches from various countries and a large number of aviation industry professionals and the international media. Gifts and impressive leather information folders arranged by the Embassy of Pakistan, Rabat were also distributed on the occasion in the presence of Ambassador Nadir Chaudhri and Defense Attache Brigadier Imran Mushtaq.
