KARACHI: Pak Oasis won European Green Era Award 2016 in Berlin Germany for its innovative solar desalination project in Tharparkar, a statement said. Of the 50 companies from all over the world Pak Oasis was the only company selected from Pakistan for its excellence in water engineering. Pak Oasis CEO Irshad Hussain received the award on behalf of company in the award ceremony held in Berlin. The solar desalination project provides free millions of gallons water and free energy up to 15MW to the people in Thar to improve their living standards.
