LAHORE: Justice Shahid Waheed of the Lahore High Court on Monday allowed petitioner’s counsel to attach more documents with the petition, seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other politicians, allegedly involved in Panama leaks, according to which they had offshore companies.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader and petitioner Gohar Nawaz Sindhu informed the court on Monday that some disclosure were made about the PM’s ownership of two offshore companies and he should be allowed to submit further documents. The court was informed that similar petitions had also been filed and the judge had ordered consolidating all these petitions. The petitioner made PM Nawaz Sharif, his two sons Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz, daughter Maryam Nawaz, former interior minister Rehman Malik, the election commission of Pakistan, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) as respondents in his petition.
