Court summons SHO in rape case
Rawalpindi: Additional District and Sessions Judge (Rawalpindi) Asif Mansoor Monday issued a notice to the Rawat Police Station SHO to appear in court on April 14 to clear his position why he was not ordering registration of an FIR against guilty police officials in a rape case.
The alleged victim has filed an application under Section 22-A for registration of an FIR and told the court that the Rawat Police Station SHO was not registering an FIR against guilty officers.
According to the applicant, seven police officers of Rawat Police Station raped her.
Reliable sources said that the Saddar superintendent of police (SP) has suspended seven police officers after the applicant filed an application before City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Ahmed Abbasi.
