RCCI to hold Rawal Expo next month

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) will organise a three-day industrial exhibition, 'Rawal Expo 2016,' in the second week of May at Ayub National Park, Rawalpindi.

Industrial products, garments, leather products and furniture will be displayed on the occasion. Food court, children play area and family gala will also be organised to attract and entertain families and children.

This has been disclosed at a press conference held at the RCCI. Addressing the press conference, RCCI President Mian Humayun Parvez said that the 'Rawal Expo 2016' would increase business activities along with providing entertainment to people. He asked the government to provide a dedicated space. Expo Centre, for trade and industrial exhibitions in the city.

He suggested allocating a land along with the Ring Road Project that will connect the new Islamabad airport. This will help ambassadors and foreign investors to come and participate in the expo in a hassle-free environment.

RCCI Senior Vice President Saqib Rafiq, Vice President Muhammad Aqil Obaid, former president Sohail Altaf, RCCI Fair and Exhibition Committee Chairman Abdul Rauf Chaudhry and member of the executive committee were present on the occasion.

Giving details about the 'Rawal Expo 2016,' Committee Chairman Abdul Rauf Chaudhry said that the RCCI has been organising exhibitions in the country and outside the country regularly. The RCCI received lot of appreciation and based on the feedback they are going to organise a three-day 'Rawal Expo 2016' from May 13 to 15, he added. He said that during the three-day exhibition, industrial products will be displayed and buyesr will have the facility to book orders.
