Rupee weakens

The rupee marginally declined in its value against the dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market on Monday, dealers said.

The rupee suffered five paisas loss against the greenback to close at Rs104.74 from the last closing of Rs104.69.

“There was some activity built up at the market after the central bank maintained status quo in April monetary policy statement released last week,” said a forex dealer.
