CPSP Councillor Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Shafi told ‘The News’ that assigning a dedicated session to a priority public health problem of high national and international stakes convinces health planners to work more religiously for eradication of polio from the country.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra as chief guest in his remarks lauded the efforts of PIMA and Peshawar Medical College who were in strong and significant terms complementing and supplementing the government at national and subnational levels through a spectrum of health and development projects, not only in disasters but in peace time as well.
